Currently, Manny Pacquiao seems to be enjoying his life with his wife Jinkee. However, he recently shared a juicy detail prior to meeting her.
According to Abante Tonite, Manny was already engaged to another woman before he even met Jinkee. He shared, “Bago ko nakilala si Jinkee, engaged na ako sa ibang babae. Pinaplano na namin ang date ng kasal namin.”
He admitted that he was 19-years-old when he got engaged to the woman who also lived in General Santos City. The senator added that she belonged to one of the wealthiest families in their region.
Apparently, Manny met her through a friend – who is currently his trainer, Buboy Fernandez. Fernandez used to work for the family of the woman.
The senator disclosed:
“Pero dumating ang time ng engaged na kami, hindi ko akalain na dumating na biglang bumaligtad, nagkaaway kami, inaway niya ako, doon ako na-discourage. Nagselos siya sa kapatid ko. Kasi bihira kami magkita ng kapatid kong babae, nakaakbay ako sa kapatid ko nagpasyal kami sa mall. Nakita kami ng auntie ng GF ko at nagsumbong.”
Eventually, when he came by to fetch his then-lover, she fought with him to the point that he obtained visible scratches.
Manny Pacquiao continued, “Mula noon na-turn-off ko… umiyak ako para akong babae… sabi ko kapatid ko, nagalit naman siya.”
Afterwards, his former lover issued an apology to him through Fernandez but the senator said that he didn’t accept it. He recalled, “Hindi ko napatawad, wala naman akong kasalanan.”
He also revealed that he was the one who ended their relationship.
Manny Pacquiao was then introduced to Jinkee by her own uncle. The rest, as they say, is history.
