Filipinos competing in international contests continuously make us proud not only of their impeccable talents, but also of the priceless pride they bring to our country. Following KZ Tandingan‘s feat in Chinese singing competition “Singers 2018” is a 13-year-old Filipina stunner who auditioned for “Ireland’s Got Talent,” Shaniah Rollo.

Shaniah introduced herself to the judges and said her family has just moved to Dublin from the Philippines. However, the family’s still incomplete as her siblings were left in her hometown.

Judge Denise Van Outen then asked the tween where would she spend the €50,000 prize (P3.26 million pesos) if she will be hailed as the champion. She said:

“I want to use the money for my brothers and sisters to go here, so we can be a whole family, because I really miss them so much.”

Shaniah started her performance right away after her brief introduction. She immediately made a home in the hearts of the judges and the audience as soon as she sang the first lines of “True Colors.”

After her performance, the judges quickly stood up and applauded Shaniah for delivering the popular song in the most wonderful way.

Judge Van Outen exclaimed:

“Wow! You’ve got the most amazing voice. You sang that from your heart, and you sang that for your siblings. They will be so proud of you.”

Judge Louis Walsh commented on her performance and said:

“Shaniah, it was effortless, it was pitch perfect, and you’re only 13!”

On the other hand, Judge Jason Byrne simply praised the Filipina contestant:

“You’re a beautiful little kid. That was just amazing.”

Judge Michelle Visage asked the contestant:

“For your age, you have such amazing control of your vocals. have you gotten lessons? Have you been coached?”

Shaniah said no and the impressed judge reacted:

“That is remarkable!”

The Filipina contestant earned the approval of all four judges and will advance to the next round.
