Recently netizens were divided over the Instagram post of OPM singer Angeline Quinto. Her prank video featuring a taho vendor from Baguio sparked a debate among netizens whether the joke was inappropriate or not.

In an Instagram video posted by the singer, Angeline, and her female companion appeared very shocked when the taho vendor billed them 300 pesos for their soy snack. However, instead of paying the amount, the two women mockingly commented on the taho vendor’s statement.

As seen in the video, Angeline’s friend furiously complained that the tahos they had purchased were running out of sweet syrup. Soon Angeline jokingly told the magtataho to travel to Manila where she intended to pay him.

However, a closer look into the video reveals that this was just a prank. The singer and her friend ordered 10 cups of taho wherein it turned out that each order was priced at 30 pesos. So if you do the math, it will be summed up to 300 pesos. The evidence proved that there was no overpricing.

However, netizens had mixed reaction regarding the viral post. Some lambasted Angeline for her insensitive joke and quickly sided with the taho vendor.
