However, this generous jeepney driver shines as a beacon of hope amidst the darkness in the hearts of men. What exactly did he do that has captivated so many netizens? Read on.

On Saturday, a Facebook fan page dedicated to Angelina Cruz-Montano shared a photo taken inside a jeepney. Featured in the snapshot was a small but easy to read signboard that says:

“Sa lahat pong senior libre na po kayo.”

According to Kicker Daily, the same image appeared in Nostalgia Philippines on the same day. While specific details regarding the photo such as who took it and where it was taken have yet to be confirmed, netizens were quick to shower the post with love.

This wasn’t the first time that a jeepney driver was kind enough to grant a free ride to a senior passenger. A fan page dedicated to Billy Crawford also posted the story of a jeepney driver who refused fare from a lola after he learned that she was alone. An excerpt from the post reads:

“Kung wala po kayong kasama kahit ilan pa kayong señior citizen dito sa jeep ko basta hindi kayo magkakilala, nililibre ko. Ang sarap kaya tumulong. Para pag tanda ko, meron din tutulong sa akin!”
