Love has this way of surprising you when you least expect it. There are good moments that turn for the worse but there are also instances where the worst scenario becomes the best memory of your life. One couple decided to go out on Valentine’s Day but had an unfortunate run-in with traffic enforcers causing someone to get handcuffed.

In Pasay City, a netizen named Art Endaya witnessed a tense situation between a couple riding in a red Innova and a few traffic enforcers. The netizen took a video of what was happening and the video showed the man being handcuffed.

The woman with him, whom we could assume is his girlfriends, was obviously frustrated and tried to plead to the authorities to let him go. However, she was rebuffed and was politely requested to stay inside the car. Art followed the man’s girlfriend and was helping her talk to the traffic enforcer who was with her.

People were starting to gather around them and the woman was confused as to why a lot of people were taking videos. After a few minutes, the enforcer went to the car window and asked her to release her boyfriend from the cuffs because she was the only one who can do it.

Without wondering about this weird rule, the woman went down from the car and did as she was told. As soon as his hands were freed from the cuffs, the man went down on one knee and proposed! Everything was actually a set up for the wedding proposal and even the traffic enforcers were in on the surprise.

One of them was even holding a tarpaulin that read: “Will you marry me?” Of course, the crowd went wild and his girlfriend was in absolute shock. But after calming down, the woman smiled and said yes!

This proposal is definitely different and heart-racing but we are very happy that it turned out great. This woman can boast about her memorable proposal, that’s for sure.
