Seeking a better life for your family is definitely enough reason to try and become an OFW. But this bright light of hope is often dulled by the harsh reality of life abroad. The cruelty and abusive behaviors of some employers sometimes become too much to handle and some mistreated OFWs, like in this story, will look for a way out.

Luckily, their cries of help landed on the lap of Raffy Tulfo and his team. Each of these women have experienced a lot under the iron fist of their employers. The radio program host did everything it takes to get these women home.

The first case belonged to a woman who was physically abused by her employer. She showed the sscars, purple bruises, swelling, and scratches all over her body to prove how bad her life was in Dammam. The team made the necessary calls to arrange the poor woman’s exit.

Another OFW stationed in Riyadh sought to escape from her cruel boss who not only beats her but also wanted to sell her to another employer. In the video she sent to the team, you could see that this woman was really scared of what was going to happen to her.

Fortunately, immediate action was done that ensured this woman’s return to her family. Both her husband and daughters were ecstatic to see her at the airport. The young girls were both emotional and said to their mother that all they want now is to be together.

The next case was an elderly woman who wasn’t given her wages on top of being overworked. The team called the complainant’s agency and arranged to talk to their foreign recruitment agency to safely return the OFW back to her family.

The last case was another overworked and underpaid OFW who shared how her employer starves her by only giving sauce and condiments as meals.
