Ever since Kapuso reporter Kara David and singer-songwriter LM Cancio became official in May 2015, people from in and out of the industry have been closely waiting to hear wedding bells.

Today, it finally happened: Kara David has married the man of her dreams, the love of her life. In a simple, solemn, and intimate ceremony held at the James the Apostle Parish Church in Betis, Pampanga, the two said their vows and sealed their love.

Ivan Mayrina took a stunning photo of the bride waiting for Church doors to open so she could walk down the aisle, and there is no question about how beautiful Kara looked on her wedding day.

Other prominent personalities in the broadcasting industry were present to witness the joyful event, like Sandra Aguinaldo and Mariz Umali, who both posted snaps of the wedding on their Instagram accounts.

Kara’s news reporter friends, led by “24 Oras“ news anchor Mel Tiangco also threw her a surprise bridal shower in December last year.

Kara David and LM Cancio may seem like an unlikely couple for some, but they actually go way back. They even went to the same high school at the University of the Philippines Integrated School.

The couple also enjoy physical activities like biking and running together, as well as conquering mountains. Aside from activities that are healthy for the body, the two also bond over activities that enrich the soul, such as working on Kara David’s brainchild scholarship foundation, Project Malasakit.

From their pre-nuptial photos and selfies uploaded on social media, the two seem to be very much in love, with Kara and LM being each other’s greatest fan.
