After finding love and marrying the love of her life, this 17-year-old Thai girl went from being the ‘World’s Hairiest Girl’ to ‘World’s Happiest Girl’ real quick.

Supatra “Natty” Sasuphan is a worldwide inspiration for those who look a little different from the rest of the crowd. Because of a condition she has called Ambras Syndrome, also dubbed as the “Werewolf Syndrome,” which causes abnormally excessive hair growth especially all over her face and down her back, Natty Sasuphan has gotten used to getting called names like “monkey face” or “Chewbacca.”

If the name-calling ever bothered her, though, the last time it did was a long time ago. As a matter of fact, she has a very cool disposition about her condition. Speaking as the record holder of being the world’s hairiest girl at the Guinness World Records ceremony in Rome circa 2010, Supatra said she doesn’t feel “any different to anyone else, and I’ve got lots of friends at school.”

This sort of attitude immensely impressed Marco Frigatti, Guinness adjudicator. He said this about Natty:

“She’s a remarkable little girl. She’s proud of who she is and wants to be treated just like everyone else. She’s not the one with the problem — it’s only those who treat her differently who’ve got the problem.”

Now an adult, the world’s hairiest girl, is bringing good vibes and positive energy all around as she uploads joyful photos and posts about a man who has been confirmed as the love of her life, and now her husband.

Surprisingly, Supatra is also now sporting a newly-shaved look, which revealed how she really looked like underneath all the hair. She has posed in her new look with her unnamed husband, whom she describes as “not just my first lover, you’re the love of my life.”

Samrerng, Natty’s father, confirms that Supatra still has the disease, but has gotten into shaving her face and body ever since tying the knot with the love of her life.
