Isang Lalaki, nakunan ng CCTV habang himalang inilagan ang mga bala ng baril mula sa kanyang kainuman.

Every so often, an unbelievable and almost miraculous event happens that one could never believe it actually happened. Such was the incident reported by Mark Zambrano of GMA News last Thursday, when a man literally managed to dodge bullets and get away with only a minor gash after his friend tried to shoot him multiple times. The incident happened in Brgy. Tatalon, Quezon City, where the altercation was captured by a CCTV camera.

According to the report, two men were drinking together when they lost their temper and started to fight. The video footage showed the two men fighting while a woman tried to stop them. The suspect, Rodrigo Malicdem, then pulled out a gun and pointed it at the victim, Sonny Operio, and shot at him. However, right when Malicdem pulled the trigger, the woman was able to push his hand and the bullet only grazed the back of Operio’s head.

Despite the blood that came from the hit, Operio tried to fight Malicdem off. Malicdem then continued to shoot at him, but he miraculously managed to dodge all the bullets.

The two then disappeared from the video’s frame as they went to a nearby side street while fighting. Moments later, Operio collapsed on the road while Malicdem fled to another side street.

However, Operio still did not have any gunshot wounds aside from the minor gash. Police Superintendent Igmedio Bernaldez, Galas-PNP said in an interview:

“Nagpasalamat nga siya [Operio] dahil pangalawang buhay na niya ito. Unang putok tinamaan siya sa batok e daplis lang. Suwerte rin niya hindi siya napuruhan. sabi niya nakakarinig din daw siya ng ibang putok siguro baka hindi lang siya tinamaan.”

Operio refused to grant an interview while Malicdem remains at large.
