According to Jennifer, they became close to each other when they did a toothpaste commercial together with Chuckie Dreyfus – Isabel’s former loveteam partner. The two teen stars got started on the to road to fame when they joined “That’s Entertainment.”
An excerpt from her post reads:
“She was pretty as a doll with her lovely eyebrows,thick lashes and that sweet smile! .We were both into many commercials,some tv shows and movies as childstars.But we also shared the awkward stage of being too young to be a ‘dalaga’ and not looking ‘bata’ anymore not just on a personal level but also for work. Plus we were sometimes called ‘too mestiza’ to get lead roles.”
She added:
“She was very supportive and a dear friend through the years. . Isabel was a truly beautiful human being, inside and out.Her smiles radiated her inner joy.I always admired her being multi-talented and skillful in many areas.She was very strong,brave,driven,hardworking and excellent at everything that she did.She was always positive,thankful and had a joyful,adventurous spirit.She was nice and kind to everyone she met and knew. . Isabel was an amazing woman , daughter,mother,wife,friend,entertainer,airforce pilot and more..”
Jennifer Sevilla admitted that after “That’s Entertainment” she and Isabel barely had a chance to see each other. She mentioned that Facebook helped them keep in touch with each other again after years of being apart.
She ended her post saying that she is grateful and honored to have had Isabel as her friend.
Isabel’s remains arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 Cargo area on November 9 at around 10:00 a.m. The 41-year-old actress was declared brain dead on November 5 after she fell into a coma following a brain aneurysm.
