We cannot imagine losing our mothers in a sudden manner at such a young age. Our mothers are supposed to be the people to remain by our side until the very end of time. But sometimes, life doesn’t work that way. Now, we get to hear from Isabel Granada‘s son, Hubert Aguas, what he feels and what he is going through after he lost his mother to a brain aneurysm.
With his father and Isabel’s former husband Geryk Genasky Aguas beside him, the grieving Hubert braved the media to answer some of their questions. The 14-year-old boy admitted that it is hard to cope with the loss his mother. After just the two weeks of Isabel being admitted to the hospital with stable vitals to knowing that she is no longer with them must be a hard pill to swallow for the young man.

Hubert admitted that he was experiencing regrets. He confessed to the media that he didn’t have much communication with Isabel leading to so many realizations.
He said:
“After those two weeks, knowing that she’s gone na talaga, it’s very hard to cope. Marami po akong naging regrets kasi medyo malayo nga po. We don’t really communicate as much. Tapos I realized that we don’t know what’s going to happen.“

Not wanting other sons or daughters to feel the same kind of regret he was feeling, Hubert gave some advice. Being with family members every day will make us think that they are with us forever. But they won’t be, so as children, Hubert said that we shouldn’t take our time with our parents for granted.
“Don’t take your time with your parents for granted. No matter what happens always be with them kasi they were with you since day one. Always enjoy and save every little moment you have with your parents.“

Isabel Granada’s son had this emotional message to give to his mother.
“Ma, nandito kami, mahal na mahal ka namin. Marami ka pa lang hindi nakuwento at sana you are happy na rin with God. Just watch over us.“
