Lions are symbols of strength, ferocity, and power. With razor-sharp teeth and giant paws, we’re sure no one would dare to cross paths with these huge cats. These animals are strong, cunning, and can surely bite a person in half. However, Kiara the lioness proved to us that not all lions are as intimidating as they appear.

A man named Adolfo adopted the lioness when she was just a lion cub. She was named after a character from the popular Disney film, “The Lion King.” She was then later on transferred to The Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation so that she could receive utmost care. The foundation based in Mexico was established by a Mexican businessman named Eduardo Serio. It was dedicated to rescuing big cats like lions, jaguars, tigers, leopards, pumas, and lynxes.

Kiara eventually grew into a strong lioness. She had grown so much that her adoptive father may not recognize her anymore.

Then one day, Adolfo decided to go to The Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation to visit his adopted lioness. Kiara knew something good was about to happen, but she was not sure what it was. When she finally saw Adolfo, she did something surprising when she walked towards her adoptive father.

The lioness leaped on Adolfo and hugged the man’s body with her huge paws. She then knocked him over with her force and she nuzzles into him.

The two spent the next few seconds cuddling, having missed each other tremendously. The last part of this adorable video showed Kiara clinging to Adolfo’s leg, indicating that she doesn’t want her former owner to leave her just yet.

Needless to say, the endearing gesture of Kiara immediately became viral on Youtube. In fact, it has amassed more than 9 million views already as of this writing.
