Comedy queen Ai-Ai delas Alas finally married her three-year non-showbiz partner, Gerald Sibayan in a star-studded ceremony. The nuptial happened Christ the King Parish in Greenmeadows, Quezon City on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017. Based on ABS-CBN News’ report, Ai-Ai was escorted to the altar by her son Sancho.

Naturally, many local celebrities and prominent figures attended the joyous event as guests. It was a truly star-studded occasion with Ai-Ai and Gerald at the center of attention! Let’s take a look at some of the Pinoy celebrities and personalities who appeared as guests during this celebration of unity, family and love.

Some prominent names who were on the guest list include: Vic Sotto, Pauleen Luna, Piolo Pascual, Rufa Mae Quinto, Marvin Agustin, Eugene Domingo, Nikki Valdez, and Pops Fernandez. High-profile celebrity couples were also guests at the ceremony like Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera as well as Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez.

Sharon Cuneta served as the Matron of Honor, who acts as the married woman attending to the bride.

In an additional report from GMA Entertainment, it was revealed that prominent figures of Channel 7 also attended the event. These included GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon and Network Executive Marivin Arayata.

Roselle Monteverde of Regal Films and APT Entertainment Chairman Antonio P. Tuviera were also invited.

It was in September 2014 when Ai-Ai delas Alas admitted that she’s in a relationship with Gerald. Their love story was paved with intrigue since Gerald is “nearly 30 years younger” than her, based on a report by ABS-CBN News.

However, the lovers trudged on and by April 2017, they became engaged with each other. According to a different report by the same previous source, Gerald proposed to her when they celebrated their third anniversary as a couple.

The source cited that in their previous interview with Ai-Ai delas Alas, she revealed that they plan to have their honeymoon in Europe. Currently, she has three children from her past relationships.

Ai-Ai shared her sentiments through an Instagram post, where she was quoted writing:

“Some knots are meant to be tied forever. Our journey is not perfect but it’s ours and I’ll stick with you till the end. I will pray to our great GOD that our journey will be smooth and sweet towards eternity.”
