Based on Chinese astrology, the dog is the 11th< sign on the Chinese calendar. But did you know that aside from knowing your animal sign, there’s also the need to find out your element – from Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood – for the yin and yang? And for the Dog sign, its main element is Earth.

Going forward, experts say that the Earth element is doubled for 2018, and because of that, the year is considered ‘balanced’ in terms of energy.
