Maine Mendoza, nag-tweet tungkol sa mga Negative comments tungkol sa kaniyang Open Letter.

A few days ago, Maine Mendoza tweeted a heartfelt open letter meant for her fans. The lengthy note addressed to her supporters was originally written on her blog. A couple of days after her open letter was made public, the “Eat Bulaga” host and Kapuso star posted another message on Twitter. Her recent message seemingly addressed the hate that her open letter received.

Maine’s open letter started off by thanking her fans for their outpouring of support for her and her loveteam partner Alden Richards.

However, as the letter went further along, the 22-year-old TV host-actress changed her tone and made a sincere confession with regards to her real feelings about her showbiz career. Although she was hesitant, she stated that she believes she should speak the truth regardless of the result.

An excerpt from her post reads:

“By the end of this letter I am pretty sure majority of you are going to turn your backs on me and probably hate on me. Pero sabi nga nila, speak the truth even if your voice shakes.”

Despite the numerous encouraging replies to her tweet, Maine Mendoza expressed her gloomy opinion which seemingly pertains to the negative comments that her open letter received.

Her open letter also alludes to Maine Mendoza seemingly being unhappy with all the attention she’s been getting.

“I am grateful to have all of you who have walked this path with me. But I need to be honest, I am at this point where I feel like I live in a box. I have not been able to do what I want and say what I feel because every time I try to express my thoughts and feelings, some of you tend to misapprehend and invalidate them in so many ways. Telling me I am not supposed to feel that way because I am ‘rich and famous.’ Telling me I have no right to be sad and hurt because I have everything a person could ask for.”

Prior to her heartwarming open letter, Maine has been linked to actor Jake Ejercito. However, the two celebrities have since clarified that they are nothing more than friends.

Following Maine’s self-pitying tweet, many of her followers showered her with support and unconditional love.
