MARAMI ANG NAGULAT SA NANGYARING ITO KAY RUFFA GUTTIEREZ SA EAT BULAGA!

Ruffa Gutierrez is, undoubtedly, one of the classiest and most sosyal celebrities to ever grace our TV screens. However, it’s been quite some time before she made a comeback to doing shows and movies. Despite her hiatus, we’re still keeping tabs on this former beauty queen.

Recently, she was on the semi-permanent roster of the longest running noontime show in the Philippines, “Eat Bulaga.” Once again, she had us emulating her “1, 2, 3, gow!” line as a referee, no, wait, it’s Ruffa-ree, on the show’s Jackpot En Poy segment.

As one of the show’s Dabarkads, Ruffa joined the Bulagaan Olympics 2017 last Friday as part of the blue team. Wearing her hair in braids, the former beauty queen threw all poise up in the air as she gamely ran through the obstacle course.

First she scaled the structure tied with wide rubber bands.

She just had to go through the bands, one by one.

For support, Ruffa clung to one of the base pipes, while untangling herself.

She almost made it through the bands.

…until one rogue yellow band caught her foot, causing her to stumble and fall on the ground.

Unfortunately, she already let go of the pipe, resulting in her falling and rolling on the floor.

Of course, fellow hosts scrambled to prevent Ruffa’s fall. Good thing that she was able to get back on her feet to continue the course, while shouting, “Oh my God!”
Admit it, you said that line in your mind with Ruffa’s trademark nasal tone.

The second part of the course had the actress reaching into a tank of eels, grabbing one, and shooting it into another tank. Frankly, the whole segment totally showed a different side of the maarte Ruffa we’ve all come to love.

These days, the 43-year-old single mom is loving to her two daughters, Lorin and Venice, from ex-husband, Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas. Ruffa also found love again in her French-Israeli beau, Jordan Mouyal.

But mommy Annabelle Rama hasn’t been discreet with her disapproval of Jordan. Ruffa previously quipped to PEP.ph, “Si Mommy, I don’t think she will ever accept anyone for me… I think.”
