Our planet is home to many different creatures both big and small. However, not all of these creatures come out looking normal. A few of them, unfortunately, are born looking like oddities. In fact, there are plenty of cases all over the world wherein people discover a strange creature that defies explanation.
One incident which involves such a case has been documented in a remote village in High Rock, Wanghin, Thailand. Here, locals stumbled upon a strange creature with the body of a buffalo and the head of a crocodile.
The creature, which was found in Thailand, appears to have the rough, scaly head of a reptile and limbs and hooves of a mammal.
It is not the first time a genetic cross between two species has been found, but it is one of the most unusual animals spotted.
According to the townspeople who discovered it, the strange creature was born of a buffalo but came out with scaly skin and an elongated snout, similar to that of a crocodile’s. Upon closer inspection, the locals saw that its body still looked like a buffalo’s, with hooves and a tail.
The animal died soon after birth, according to a local website, but is believed to have brought good luck to the village and the family who made the discovery.
The townsfolk who saw the strange creature believe that it was a blessing from the gods and it would bring them good luck. They even thanked their gods for bringing it to them even just for a short while. Most of them took turns touching the bizarre creature, hoping that some of its luck would rub off on them.
