Being permanently marked by tattoos could be life-changing. This is why i is definitely wise to put a lot of thought into the very first one you would put on your body. You want something that you wouldn’t regret years from now but also you want something that shows a part of who you are. This could be a little overwhelming for a newbie.
The perfect size, design, and color are factors that may make or break your ink so it’s usually best to go with something small. Easily hidden and a lot less painful, minimalist designs are a way to go especially if you don’t want a complicated one but still want some meaning behind the artwork.
Here are some celebrity tattoos that may help you figure out what kind of tattoo you would want in the future.
GMA-7’s Queen Marian Rivera went on a tattoo date with husband Dingdong Dantes back in 2013. She got a small butterfly tattoo done by Myke Sambajon of P and P tattoo and body art shop. We know the actress to be very fond of flowers and butterflies.

Ina Raymundo also shows us her intricate flower tattoo that was retouched by Myke as well. He also added a dragonfly tattoo to match.
Film and TV director Joyce Bernal inked her skin for the first time, giving tribute to her favorite band, 30 Seconds to Mars.

Singer/Actor Khalil Ramos wanted his first one to be a little more quirky in design. It was again done by Myke and it is a very detailed illustration of the brain with circles around it. The tattoo was placed on Khalil’s wrist.
GMA-7 actress Louise delos Reyes chose something close to home for her tattoo. She had Emao Clemen of P and P tattoo to write the coordinates of Cavite, the actress’ hometown, above her elbow.

Rhian Rhamos went old school, going to Apo Whang-Od for her tattoos. The first set was a hawk and a scorpion back in 2014. Rhian went back to the legendary artist to do a piece designed by Rhian herself.

Alex Diaz had small tattoos on both his wrists. One is a ship’s helm and the other is a power button.

Singer/Actress Emmanuelle Vera went for something more hidden when she chose to write the words, Serve and Love, in each of her wrists with white ink.
