As he introduced himself to the judges, one of the judges, singer-song writer Anggun, recognized his familiar face, asking if they have met before.
It turned out that Neil has joined the competition before in 2015, where he got four nods from the panel of judges.
However, he had to drop out during the semi-finals because the schedule was in conflict with his college exams.
Another judge, international musician David Foster, asked Neil how his life has changed since then.
“How has your life changed since you were on the last season?”
“Many doors of opportunities has opened for me. I built our own home for my family.
The judges were impressed by his answer, prompting Anggun to reply, “Wow. Good for you.”
He then proceeded on with a show of his beat-boxing skills.

“You have stepped it up. It’s definitely more than the last season.
“Now I like you even more. More and more.”
