Gabby Concepcion finds a humorous gem in President Duterte’s recent error in his rant against ABS-CBN. Instead of saying Gabby Lopez III‘s name, he mistakenly uttered the veteran actor’s name. It was during the 120th anniversary of the Department of Justice in the PICC. Duterte talked about ABS-CBN and how the station didn’t air his television campaigns during the elections.

Duterte said:

“Sino naka p—- ina niyong lahat. Ikaw? Gabby Concepcion, muka kang pera, p—ina ka. Eh totoo man. Eh sus.” But later corrected himself in his second statement, “ABS-CBN isa ka pa. Dapat na-hostage ka si Gabby Lopez doon, isali kita. Makinig ka, Gabby Lopez. Nagplace ako ng advertisment. Tinanggap niyo yung pera kong two million para kasi wala akong advertisment.”

But Gabby Concepcion doesn’t seem to mind and actually made a joke out of it. Especially since his character in the hit GMA-7 show, Ika-6 Na Utos, seems to be going through a rough patch that may be caused by this “mistaken identity.”

In his Instagram account, Gabby Concepcion posts a photo saying that Rome, his character, was taken to the hospital because of an accident caused by this mistaken identity. “Na ospital bigla dahil sa mistaken identity,” the actor’s caption read.

Now, Gabby’s character was shot and is now in the hospital. A twist came when Rome woke up and now has lost his memories. Another GMA-7 personality with the same name speaks out in jest over the error. Atty. Gaby Concepcion of Unang Hirit poses in a picture with the actor and addresses the joke.

“Hindi Po Kami Yun, Mr. President! Maniwala Po kayo sa amin, inosente Kami! Hindi Po makapal Ang mukha namin! Pramis!” she wrote.
